This original Eames design was intended to provide a creative platform for budding artists. Its 8 die-cut panels and 16 premium crayons provide prompts for kids to create a whole world of creatures and spaces. According to Eames, “This is a world discovered and rediscovered by all children and is their own to create. The Coloring Toy does not presume to make artists out of children or to teach them how to play (children are far ahead of us on both counts). But we do hope that the contents of this box and the clues it offers will stimulate the use of these and other materials in an ever-expanding variety of ways.” The Eames Coloring Toy includes butterfly clips for hanging kids’ creations from string or nails, and its box measures 7.5 x 21w x 1"d. Ages 3+
