MoMA Exclusive: With designer Kelsey Armstrong, there’s a method to her madness. When designing her jewelry from picto-charms and found components, she lays everything out to see which charms and vintage pendants correspond with one another to craft the right collage-like design. The brand’s signature picto-charms are made from non-toxic, durable polymer and earth-friendly resin. The imagery for Haricot Vert’s picto-charms for this exclusive design is inspired by MoMA’s home in the heart of NYC and the Museum’s mission to connect people from around the world to the art of our time.

This NYC Charm Necklace for her brand Haricot Vert is a prime example. Each necklace is handcrafted in her Greenpoint, Brooklyn studio with seven NYC-centric picto-charms: a pizza slice, an old-school camera, a paint tube, a New York Loves You pendant, a yellow taxi cab, a dollar bill and a coffee cup. Each necklace may differ slightly due to the deadstock metal chain. The Haricot Vert NYC Charm Necklace measures between 16” and 18” (depending on the deadstock chain used) with a 2” extender chain.
