Inspired by the serene beauty of the Katsura gardens (Katsura Imperial Village) in Kyoto, this tea towel is produced by Danish brand HAY. Carefully crafted with attention to detail, it features delicate patterns reminiscent of lush foliage and tranquil landscapes. Made from high-quality, absorbent cotton, this tea towel effortlessly soaks up spills and dries your dishes with ease. To care for your HAY Katsura Tea Towel, HAY recommends putting the towels in a tub of cold water for 24-48 hours before washing for the first time, to prevent the colors from fading and improve the absorbency. Then, using detergent without bleach as they’re machine-washed at no higher than 86 °F the first wash and 140 °F for the second. Then, dry on low heat. The HAY Katsura Tea Towel measures 31.5l x 20.5"w. HAY is a manufacturer with work in MoMA’s collection.
