Alexander Girard designed this textile during his tenure as founding director of the Herman Miller Textile Division, from 1952 to 1973. The double-weave construction allows the two colors to separate completely. The palette draws upon archival color combinations to evoke Girard's playful use of bright tones and remarkable contrasts. The designer and manufacturer have work represented in the MoMA collection. Made in the USA. Dry-clean only. 17h x 17w x 5"d.
