Alexander Girard designed this textile during his tenure as founding director of the Herman Miller Textile Division, from 1952 to 1973. Checker Split features black-and-white triangles randomly intertwine with squares to optical effect. The designer and manufacturer have work in the MoMA collection. Made in the USA.
