MoMA Exclusive: This adjustable cap, by New Era, a company that has been manufacturing baseball caps since the 1930s, is available in multiple colors, including an all-white version with sewn-in thread that glows in the dark. The cap features the New Era logo and the MLB (Major League Baseball) emblem. The New Era NY Yankees Cap was featured in MoMA’s exhibition Items: Is Fashion Modern?
The white version feaures the New Era and MoMA logos as well as the Yankees emblem, all sewn in thread that (surprise!) glows in the dark.
