Designed by Shigeru Uchida and delicately handcrafted from Washi paper in the Gifu prefecture of Japan in a 90-year-old factory, this Moon Lamp brings an organic shape and soft mood light into your space. The process for creating each lamp involves wrapping bamboo around wooden frames and then gluing and applying each panel of rice paper separately until the entire surface is covered. The shape of the lamp articulates the Japanese principle of wabi-sabi—the idea of finding beauty in every aspect of imperfection in nature. The Paper Moon Lamp has an E14 base and requires a 25W max bulb (included). Powered by standard plug-in.
