MoMA Exclusive: In a colorful palette that spans the entire rainbow, this set of 24 flatware pieces is handcrafted from carbon stainless steel and acrylic in the French industrial town of Thiers, located in the Laguiole region. They’re designed by Claudine Dozorme, the daughter of master knife craftsperson Claude Dozorme, whose grandfather founded his namesake company in 1902 in Thiers, which is considered to be the capital of French cutlery manufacturing. The key steps in manufacturing a Claude Dozorme knife—steel cutting, grinding, polishing, assembly—have not changed in over a century. However, over the years, the Claude Dozorme brand has incorporated new methods and technologies in the production of their knives. This set of 24 Rainbow Flatware pieces contains six each of a fork (8.75"l), knife (8.75"l), spoon (8.25"l) and teaspoon (7"l). Hand wash only.
