This x-large (39”diam.), plush cushion version of Takashi Murakami’s famous flower motif features a laughing face on one side and a peaceful smiling one on the other. Murakami, whose work is represented in MoMA’s collection, reflects the bright palette and friendly demeanor of cartoons in his many anthropomorphic iterations of flora.
